With reference to your letter of the 18th June and your reminder of the 23rd August, ref. X.72064/24/PIII, I enclose herewith for your consideration, a letter from Dr. Oswald Marriott, the Medical Officer in charge of the Chinese contingent of this Section. It will be seen from his letter that he refuses, as was to be expected, to join the Panel, and as this suggestion appears to be the point with which your letter chiefly deals I would be glad to know how the position now stands.
